of VOLUNTEER MEMBERS from all walks of life
interested in assisting the San Bernardino
County Sheriff’s Department.

BOTH RETIRED AND/OR STILL WORKING
AT FULL TIME JOBS. THEY VOLUNTEER
THEIR TIME WITHOUT PAY TO HELP THE
COMMUNITY THEY LIVE IN BE SAFE.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be a U.S. citizen Must be a high school graduate or possess a G.E.D. Must have a valid driver's license Pass an oral interview Pass a background investigation Attend the Citizen Volunteer training course Training and requirements: Monthly business meeting Minimum one monthly training session (mandatory attendance at training) Donate 16 hours a month (unit specific) Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
