NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH IS NOW
USA on Watch

Hank and Pat McGill attended by special invitation, Neighborhood Watch training

by the National Sheriff’s Association at the Anaheim Convention center. It was an

all day affair with Law Enforcement Officers from all over the USA. We were

selected to attend as a Neighborhood watch Coordinator and Block Captain in

San Bernardino County.

USA on Watch is still Neighborhood watch

and held by the National Sheriff’s Association.

The only difference is, neighbors are now asked

to help with Homeland Security and watch for

terrorist.

Our mission is to observe and report. This sounds easy and that’s the way

we have been handling it.  With all the new information you will know what

to observe and how to report it, without getting disgusted when you call to

report something suspicious. You will understand priorities and why the

Deputy did not show up on your call.

We already know that we must take care of ourselves and our property

just by listening to the daily news. Government Budgets from top to bottom,

Cities, Counties, States and Federal Government are not exempt from

budget shortages.

The best example is Maywood California where they disbanded the police

force after 86 years and the County is taking over the City operation.

You read Headlines, where the economic recovery is losing steam.

 Celebrate Safe Communities

The Rock Lady has Rocks

Pat would like you to join Neighborhood watch and pick up a rock. If you

are already a member, give her a call and she will see that you get a rock.

760-951-7218NOTICE: Rocks are guaranteed, if your rock is fading,
Pat says “Have Brush Will Travel” Just give me a call. Missing rocks will be replaced.

                       COP’s

WOW That June Month was a rough one.

Our COP Meeting was on the first day of June and everyone said yes to all

the extra activities. Since that meeting our special patrols and vacation

checks have more than tripled and it looks like that will happen again as

 more residents go on vacation.

Beginning 1 July our office will be open each Wednesday from 9AM to 1PM

so residents can stop by and sign up for your vacation checks and special

patrol requests or Neighborhood watch information. If you can’t make it

during this time just call 760-951-7836 and we will deliver the forms.
Thanks to Spring Valley Lake Residents,

We made headlines.
